In order to boost the project's success, the team is actively searching for a DevOps Engineer!

requirements
  • Proven experience in managing and administering Digital Ocean infrastructure;
  • Strong proficiency in containerisation technologies;
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Docker Swarm and Kubernetes;
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, or similar;
  • Experience with configuration management tools;
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture in cloud environments;
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Newrelic, Sentry, or similar;
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
key responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on Digital Ocean;
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines;
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor applications in containerised environments. One of the tasks to do is to move from Docker Compose to a container based solution that works well on production;
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure;
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks;
  • Collaborate with development team to design and implement infrastructure solutions;
  • Implement security best practices to protect cloud infrastructure and applications;
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise (Sentry);
  • Create, maintain and update technical documentation.
nice to have
  • Experience with other cloud providers such as Azure, or Google Cloud;
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices;
  • Experience with database management and optimisation.
