A major challenge was the fragmented HR workflows. Recruiters used separate systems, spreadsheets, and manual calculations for daily tasks. This led to inefficiency, more chances for mistakes, and made it hard to grow HR operations.

The platform also had to fix problems with managing content in multiple languages. Handling German, French, and English content often caused inconsistencies, extra work, and translation errors. The client needed a central system to keep everything accurate and make administration easier. ⚡

Another key need was to develop custom calculators. The platform had to include six advanced calculators that could handle complex business rules but still be easy for non-technical users. The team needed to get accurate results without knowing the formulas behind them.

designing HR software recruiters actually want to use

We analyzed HR workflows to find inefficiencies and spot ways to automate tasks. By interviewing stakeholders and doing usability research with HR teams, we looked at how recruiters used spreadsheets, calculators, forms, and estimation tools in their daily work.

The client team often had to move between different systems to finish one task. Manual calculations took up a lot of time, and inconsistent formulas led to different results for each team. 

To solve these problems, we studied how the team worked and mapped out key user journeys in different departments and language groups. This helped us find ways to improve HR processes and make the experience smoother.

We also conducted multilingual UX research to understand how content structures, navigation patterns, and user expectations vary across German, French, and English-speaking audiences.

The key insight for us was simple: recruiters need intelligent recruiter software solutions that remove operational delays and get only the information required at the right moment. This insight shaped the platform architecture, UX strategy, and functionality of the entire HR management platform.⚙️
